Having owned this microwave for 6 months, Whirlpool have replaced our microwave 4 times, yes 4 times due to the metal plate inside the microwave burning up.
The only reason we purchased this microwave was because it was cream and matched our kitchen.
Our previous microwave was a Panasonic, has it 15 years never went wrong. Gave it away to a relation, its still going strong.
I am impressed by the service we have received from Whirlpool, have replace our microwave 4 times. But I am not impressed with the Max 25. If only Panasonic did a cream microwave.

The microwave arrived very quickly, but unfortunately some of the paintwork was scratched. However it wasn’t enough to make me send it back and request another as it was bought as a xmas gift and i didn’t have time.

Had this item for 9 months, not used excessively, last week during use, made a noise like a drill, all lights went off and its dead. Rang Whirlpool who described the symptoms of failure spot on and have offered to replace it for free, which is great service if it turns up as they don’t repair. Smacks of a design flaw and they know there is a problem with it. Turned up on the agreed date. Excellent replacement service.

Initially only bought this microwave because of the colour!!! Matches my Morphy Richards cream toaster and kettle perfectly.
Such a great design. Compact so takes up nearly half the size of my old microwave. Looks like a little portable telly so get lots of comments, and as its not a ‘normal’ microwave it does look like the money you paid for it.
The internal capacity is slightly smaller than my old microwave but hasnt led to any problems. This is only a 750w so takes slightly longer than my other microwave, but it has cooked everything lovely. Crunchy frozen veg, lovely jacket pototoes.
I haven’t had any problems with the door which some other reviewers have had.
Miss the grill facility that my other microwave had, but I well chuffed with my purchase. Looks funky, does its job…well happy!

I bought this product needing a compact microwave that met the needs of family life, and I wanted one in cream to go with my kitchen. Very happy with the purchase. It is very compact, looks great and does the job. The door catch is fine, just the same as any other microwave I’ve had, and it comes with a steamer set and bottle holder. The internal height is lower than other microwaves I’ve had, but once you get used to it, not a problem. I would recommend this product.
