Exactly as described. So far, very reliable. Cannot fault it. Haven’t tried the steam function yet. Really pleased as we created a retro look to our kitchen and this fits in perfectly.

Bought it to replace my trusty Samsung that had rusted (since discovered that this is perfectly safe to use !). Was important to me that the new microwave fitted into my country kitchen (did not want a gleaming stainless steel box) but also wanted a machine that would meet my needs without making my brain ache. Et voila ! Looks great, does what I want it to do,which mostly amounts to heating my coffee and my husbands wheatbags, soup and other tinned goods. However as this came with a (very orange – why ?) plastic steamer, I have actually started to use it to cook vegetables. Couldn’t be easier and I am very pleased with the results. My only criticism is that the height clearance is low so yo have to be very careful when putting for example a 1 pint Pyrex jug in the oven not too catch it otherwise it is likely to chip. In summary I am not a ‘microwave cook’ but wanted a machine that would deal with the basics and look good (and not take up too much room). It works for me !!

Having owned this microwave for 6 months, Whirlpool have replaced our microwave 4 times, yes 4 times due to the metal plate inside the microwave burning up.
The only reason we purchased this microwave was because it was cream and matched our kitchen.
Our previous microwave was a Panasonic, has it 15 years never went wrong. Gave it away to a relation, its still going strong.
I am impressed by the service we have received from Whirlpool, have replace our microwave 4 times. But I am not impressed with the Max 25. If only Panasonic did a cream microwave.

The microwave arrived very quickly, but unfortunately some of the paintwork was scratched. However it wasn’t enough to make me send it back and request another as it was bought as a xmas gift and i didn’t have time.

Had this item for 9 months, not used excessively, last week during use, made a noise like a drill, all lights went off and its dead. Rang Whirlpool who described the symptoms of failure spot on and have offered to replace it for free, which is great service if it turns up as they don’t repair. Smacks of a design flaw and they know there is a problem with it. Turned up on the agreed date. Excellent replacement service.
