A favourite lunch for us is bacon rolls, but two things made it a chore – the lingering smell, and more off-putting, them difficulty in washing my grill pan,which is very large, and doesn’t fit in my very small sink.
I was looking out for a smaller grill pan, and saw this which looked even better.
It works well, perhaps not quite as crisp as grilling, but still tasting good. The big advantage is that the pan can just go in the dishwasher, and cleaned instantly.

Purchased the racks and the results were great. All the fat stays in the bottom of the tray, which is exactly what I wanted. The trays are sturdy and I can fit 4 slices of back bacon per tray. You can overlap due to shrinkage – and don’t forget, no more white bits.
I used to microwave using kitchen roll, but the bacon stuck to it. I ended up with burnt fingers and most of the kitchen roll stuck to the bacon. This was not good for my blood pressure, or my language…..
I can recommend these bacon racks.
